ABOUT ABOUT

Workshop Description

Are you an actor who finds themselves stuck, anxious and/or afraid in the audition room? Are you confused what is meant by 'make strong/bold choices', or how to go about it? Have you found your scene partner or reader delivers lines very differently than what you hoped/anticipated/expected? In this workshop, learn how to pivot and "Yes, and..." a variety of circumstances actors face in the audition room. Whether new to acting, or a veteran, learn some tools and principles to help you get more out of your auditions and callbacks.

Facilitator

Maya Jairam is an actor, improviser and multi-hyphenate artist based out of Fort Collins, CO. Acting since childhood, she has found that improv has helped her become a better auditioner, actor, and castmate, as well as enjoy the auditioning process much more
