ABOUT ABOUT

Workshop Description

Note: This class will be 4 hours, we’ll do breaks every hour.

This class takes students through the process of sketch writing, from beginning to end. We will cover the various types of sketches, ideation, structure, how to deal with writers block, and how to push past writer’s block. Each student will be given the tools to get their ideas out of their head, on to the page and on to the stage or screen.

Facilitator

Suki Lanh writes, teaches, and performs comedy throughout Florida. She is an adjunct professor in screenwriting at University of Miami. Suki is an alumna of Second City Chicago, and Peoples Improv Theater. Her love for reading scripts and eating delicious food resulted in her company, Feedback With Suki, a script development service that workshops the first 10 pages of scripts in exchange for food.
